On behalf of the Construction and Management Institute (ICG), it is a pleasure to announce the publication in Spanish, in August 2022, of the AASHTO Manual “Mechanistic-Empirical Pavement Design Guide. A Manual of Practice, 3rd Edition with 2021 Supplement”(MEPDG) which is published with the authorization of AASHTO (American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials) and constitutes the third edition translated into Spanish of the MEPDG by ICG.
The MEPDG Spanish version maintains the same page structure as the original English publication, so that the reader can study and compare content.
The presentation of the MEPDG will be at the Lima Sheraton Hotel as part of the “5th International Conference on Transportation Infrastructure” program. We have a Technical Session dedicated to the MEPDG on Friday, August 12 at 8 am. Dr. Carlos M. Chang, Chair of “International Pavement Committee ME” will be leading this session.
We cordially invite all professionals, companies and institutions connected to transport infrastructure and pavements to register and participate in the in the 5th International Conference on Transport Infrastructure (August 10 to 13, 2022). In addition to the technical presentations, there will be exhibitions and social events.
This project has the valuable participation of a distinguished group of experts members and friends of CIDME, to whom we are very grateful for their collaboration in the review of Chapters in Spanish
