Min-Chih Liao, Associate Professor

Min-Chih Liao is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil and Construction Engineering at the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Taiwan. He received his BSc and MSc at the National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), Taiwan, in 1998 and 2000. He subsequently underwent a compulsory two-year military service in the Military Police, obtaining the rank of second lieutenant. Min-Chih joined the Nottingham Transportation Engineering Centre (NTEC), UK, having completed his PhD in Civil Engineering at the University of Nottingham in 2008.
 
He was a material engineer at Dan Morrissey Irl Ltd in Republic of Ireland from 2007-2010. He was a research fellow at the NCKU from 2010-2014. He was an Associate Professor at the Hunan University in PR China from 2014-2015. Since 2015, Min-Chih has joined with the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology. He specializes in the areas of asphalt rheology, including polymer modified asphalt, rubber asphalt, asphalt mastic.
