Civil Engineer graduated from UNFV, Master in Numeric Methods and Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Catalunya. Professor at the University of Lima (ULIMA), in charge of the Transport and Geotechnical Area. His research interests are numerical modeling of geotechnical projects, constitutive behavior of soils, soil-structure interaction, and soil improvement and stabilization. He has 20 years of experience working on several projects as a geotechnical consultant. His professional experience includes, among others, geotechnical investigations, supervision of studies, slope stability, dams and dikes, and numerical modeling. He has participated in the Expansion of the Port of Barcelona, South and North Dock Expansion in the Port of Callao, and the Stabilization of Landslide 5 in the Tablachaca dam.
