Prateek Bansal, Associate Professor

Dr Prateek Bansal is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the National University of Singapore (NUS). Prior to joining NUS, he was Leverhulme Trust Early Career Fellow at Imperial College London. Dr Bansal received his PhD degree from Cornell University, MS from The University of Texas at Austin, and B.Tech. from IIT Delhi.
 
He is interested in creating methodological innovations at the intersection of Bayesian Machine Learning, Econometrics, Causal Inference, and Computational Psychology to address challenging questions in travel behaviour modelling, value-based decision making, and traffic safety. He is currently on the Editorial Board of the European Journal of Transport and Infrastructure Research. He has published his work in Transportation Research Parts A, B, and C, Computational Statistics and Data Analysis, and the Econometrics Journal.
