Associate Professor at University of Piura. Civil engineer specializing in road engineering. Professional experience in design of surface foundations, soil studies and building projects, in the areas of costs and budgets. I have two main lines of research: 1) Construction technologies, especially focused on the study of traditional and/or ancestral technologies as a valuable source to design new proposals; at the same time that constitutes a support for the rehabilitation or restoration of historic buildings. 2) Road materials.
 
In this line, the work is oriented towards the incorporation of new materials, whether of foreign manufacture or the incorporation of residues from productive activities that constitute an environmental problem. In this sense, the work is fundamentally experimental, with the possibility of generating low-cost proposals.
